Blue ribbon quality reed:
Rattan has been used in a wide variety of ways, including basket
weaving for hundreds of years. Quality of the materials
can vary widely so a grading system was implemented in the trade to
ensure you are selecting the level of quality appropriate to your
purpose. I have chosen to work with blue ribbon quality reed
only for my baskets.
